Re: Volley Brawl is for sale in the USC
will there be any news on how this does financially?
Dull but sincere filler.

Re: Volley Brawl is for sale in the USC
While I personally have no qualms about bragging about how incredibly rich I am, I don't know if Canonical is cool with us sharing the sales statistics.StoneCrow wrote:will there be any news on how this does financially?
That said, I can tell you that it's selling better than I thought it would. Looking at the hours we've put in, we'd get a better hourly wage by recycling old soda bottles, but it's still more than I expected.

Recycling old soda bottles is a better career move than being an indie game dev, but who cares?nevon wrote:Looking at the hours we've put in, we'd get a better hourly wage by recycling old soda bottles, but it's still more than I expected.

Just checked with our publisher, and apparently there will be buttrape from Canonical if we reveal any sales statistics. Sorry.

Easy. Here are your sale statistics that I derived using magical psychic powers:nevon wrote:Just checked with our publisher, and apparently there will be buttrape from Canonical if we reveal any sales statistics. Sorry.
1 < sales < number of atoms in the universe.
I'm close, right?

That is a reasonable approximation, yes.genericdave wrote:Easy. Here are your sale statistics that I derived using magical psychic powers:

0 <= sales <= n/pgenericdave wrote:1 < sales < number of atoms in the universe.
n = atoms in the universe.
p = atoms in the product.

Re: Volley Brawl is for sale in the USC
You're assuming we've made at least 1 sale. We have actually given a couple away, so if they count as negative sales, it would be something more like:Robin wrote:More like 1 < #sales < #(computers running Ubuntu). Anyway, …
-10 < #sales < #(computers running ubuntu 10.10 or higher)

genericdave used 1 <, and you didn't see a problem with that, so I just used that.nevon wrote:You're assuming we've made at least 1 sale. We have actually given a couple away, so if they count as negative sales, it would be something more like:

I don't see how giving some away would count as negative sales, but OK.
-10 < #sales < #(non-servers running ubuntu 10.10 or higher)
