The only reason this would not work is due to a proxy/lack of internet.
A firewall shouldn't stop it unless you block outgoing port 80...

Bartbes guessed it. Nothing on my computer may talk (or listen) to the Internet unless it really, really needs to.
Earliest Love2D supporter who can't Love anymore. Let me disable pixel shaders if I don't use them, dammit!

The particle system created with HGE Particle Editor, a sprite is created procedurally. It may be worthwhile to include in the Love the ability to directly read the psi-file? There is also converter psi->lua.

Hi lizard! Nice to make your acquaintance.lizard wrote:The particle system created with HGE Particle Editor, a sprite is created procedurally. It may be worthwhile to include in the Love the ability to directly read the psi-file? There is also converter psi->lua.
Your file size is very small, and the code is very readable. I'm a bit baffled with the seemingly random generated numbers (0.492063, 6.283185 ...)
I'm including your entry on the list post, thanks for joining the contest!

The second looks to me like 2*pi, the first.. not so much, but it's kind of near 1/6*pi, I guess it's some fixed pre-calculated angle.kikito wrote:seemingly random generated numbers (0.492063, 6.283185 ...)

Or even closer to 10/64*pi, but that's just me being random. The second is most definitely 2*pi.bartbes wrote:The second looks to me like 2*pi, the first.. not so much, but it's kind of near 1/6*pi, I guess it's some fixed pre-calculated angle.kikito wrote:seemingly random generated numbers (0.492063, 6.283185 ...)
