Damn, looking at the Ruby it just uses the method from the wiki. T.T No executable for windows ppl.
Relax, it works. It did when I was on Windows.
Make sure there is actually a love.exe and game.love file in the current directory (you can change game.love into something else if you want, just make sure the name in the command matches the actual file).

What did I say about patronising me? IT DOESN'T WORK!
I'm sorry if it seemed patronising, it wasn't intended as such. BlackBulletIV is right, if we don't know what's going wrong, we can't help you. The only thing we can do if you're not giving us enough details, is first to eliminate the obvious. Because if I assume those things are not the problem, and they are, we spend a lot of time eliminate more exotic possibilities.
Possibilities (it may be something here, not sure)-
This isn't meant to be patronizing, this is just every issue I could think of that could cause this. I have made 4-5 games in Love since .7, all on Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit). I have used this method for all of these, and it worked for me.
-ADMIN-
You don't have write access to the folder
The computer is blocking command prompt/DOS
-Other-
Spelling error
Whitespace error
Antivirus software is preventing .bat files from creating .exe
One of the files is not in the directory of the batch file
-User-
You might be misunderstanding the use of a .bat file?
I get no error, just love starting up as though it is just on it's own. It isn't that the file won't copy, just that love starts up as though it has no parameters.
Any more questions?
I'll answer TylertheDesigner's questions to stop you asking me them again
I'm admin and it is being run as admin.
Command Prompt isn't blocked.
No spelling error.
Not using .bat, manualy doing it. (For now at least.)
Ditto.
Ditto.
Ditto, although don't ever imply that I don't know what a batch file is.

If Linux were a beer, it would be shipped in open barrels so that anybody could piss in it before delivery
OK, I had to make sure. I'm all out of ideas why it doesn't work then.
I really don't mean to be patronising, I only asked because if we don't eliminate every possibility there would be a chance something like that was the problem. It's what I expect others to do for me too.
