Due to lack of resources, I develop games on my Android Phone. Before, I used to use an Android Tablet which had Android 10 running so internal storage of apps were accessible, but I switched to a new phone, which has Android 14 running so I'm unable to access Internal storage of any app including the Löve2d game engine which is creating difficulties in testing the code again and again. To check the code, I have to compress the files again and again after each edit, which is really problematic.
I want to ask why did Löve2d suddenly stop accessing external storage from Löve2d 11 versions, and I request to return the feature. Please help I'm really passionate in gamedev but am a student so I don't earn that I could buy a computer by myself.
Deving on android? /o\
And then because of money?
No srsly, you can get decent laptops for like 10 bucks on ebay so this is a weird take.
Anyways, have you considered chrooting into something like debian and just using their repo version of löve?
The android version was never exactly easy to deal with.
