I enjoy writing functions. Learning new things. Researching techniques I don't know of. Refactoring. Debugging. Play testing.
I like all that.
Really really dislike gui/graphics and interfaces (keyboards etc). 105% of my projects are print to console and rarely move beyond that level of sophistication. Slow and arduous and breaks my momentum.

Re: What is your pet coding peeve?
Anything I've done before. I love learning new stuff or working on novel approaches to already solved problems (like my unnecessarily complicated GPU raycaster from a few years ago), but I can rarely make it part of a complete package because I can't be bothered doing the rest of the work that I'm already familiar with.

As a web developer who involved with database, data validation/relationship, and get things served effectively a lot, I learned many stuff on doing game development in different level.
Math. Game development made me questioning my understanding in this subject.
