A tool like Aseprite but for hd sprites?

I have been using aseprite for a time but later I wanted to make games with more hd graphics so my question is: ¿there is a program that is easy to use like aseprite?

I believe for any "HD" visuals it's more common place for the art to be done with programs like Photoshop. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative with animation support, Krita might get the job done.
