Hello, I've been working with Love2D for a while, and have finished and released what is now my second project made with the framework.
Made in less than a week, The Impossible Race is a recreation of the 1976 electronic game, Auto Race, which was made by Mattel. While the game did not look as impressive as it was back in 76, when I saw a video of it, I was mesmerized by how simple the game play was, and how fun it looked to play regardless. I aimed to recreate that experience by creating a simple game with similar rules, and similar graphics. There is also a menu, and the ability to pause during the game.
CONTROLS:
ENTER to select menu items
LEFT or A to move car left
RIGHT or D to move car right
UP or W to move gear shift up
DOWN or S to move gear shift down
PAUSE to pause the game
The car will gradually move up after a certain time, depending on how fast you go.

TIP: When close to the edge, it's best to not stay in one position.
Any feedback is appreciated!
