JellyBall: Softbody Based Physics Platformer [WIP]

This is a project I've been working on for some time now and I realized it was long past due for having it's own thread...
I've been streaming development every afternoon on https://www.twitch.tv/connorses/ so follow me if you'd like to be notified when I go live.

P.S. I'm also looking for music to play during streams maybe send me some cool Youtube videos?? lol

That video is pretty old, I'll make a new one soon.
I wanted to share footage now that I've added metaball shader to the game for the death animation!

I'll make another video update soon if I have time, no promises. I have a lot of plans for this game. I have quite a few levels prototyped! The game needs a visual overhaul, better menus, screen transitions animations for entering/exiting levels... I'm gonna be busy.

Nice work turning soft bodies into a game. Looking good.

but man, am I bad at math.

@Gunroar I wish I were using the gooi lib. I'm using SUIT. Very handy and well documented btw https://love2d.org/wiki/SUIT

@Nikki woah cool loveballs has a feature to make arbitrary shapes now??

Hey guys it's been a while. Jellyball video?!

I'm trying to make more levels that don't have things which kill you, and are just fun to speedrun. That way the early game has replayability. This also showcases some of the stuff you can do by becoming Slippery and hitting Expand while you're sliding.

Hi,

Beautifull game ! I like how the character's body can turn on the floor with more than physics. :)
