Is there sometthing like the pen on scratch in love 2d or lua?

Logo's stateful drawing it seems like; it can be implemented but you can do raycasting in more sane ways than what a pre-schooler would be taught.

Sounds similar to turtle graphics. There's a library for love2d, not sure how up-to-date it is https://github.com/arthurealike/turtle.lua

Reads like it simply drops the same picture a few times on a canvas.
