I'm guessing you used love.graphics.polygon() and didn't put the co-ordinates in the correct order. But if not, we'll need to see your code (or a good sample) to know what's broken.
Any code samples/ideas by me should be considered Public Domain (no attribution needed) license unless otherwise stated.
