⭐Star Quest - Earthbound-inspired RPG!⭐
Re: Star Quest
This don't look like a bad concept. Do you have the entire storyline written or are you making it up as you go? Will there only be one ending or different endings? What is your development schedule for the foreseeable future? When do you plan on releasing a minimum viable version and what platform? Will it be pay-to-play indie style or free-to-play? Looking forward to your answers.

Re: Star Quest
Oh, a Google search does it. I thought it would give me one company name abbreviated as QTE and not the actual one used here

I have kind of a bare bones story but I improve it as I go.LLL124 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 7:56 pm This don't look like a bad concept. There will of course be different endings.
Development schedule for the foreseeable future? wdym
I'm planning to release a public demo sometime soon on PC. The full version will also be on PC, but I might try to port and publish on Nintendo Switch, though IDK how hard is it to port love2d games to the Switch.
The game will be paid. But it won't be overpriced at all. Maybe it'll be 5 bucks or something.

What do you think, guys? Is that a good game mechanic?Introducing... Star Powers!
Press the arrow keys at the correct time!
The more correct presses you get, the more intense the Star Power will be, but the more Star Energy will be used!
Examples:
3 presses
30 HP healed
6 SE used
9 presses
90 HP healed
18 SE used

Now, in relation to the game's plot, Star Quest's color palette will consist only of cyan shades and black/white... Or will there be another color?

I really loved EarthBound as a kid - and in fact I still do! I'm excited to see where this project goes!
I can't speak for anyone else, but I have a really hard time reading your posts because the font is huge and everything is bold. Is there a particular reason you do that? If not, please consider using the default font settings.FreezyDude wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 4:35 pm Now, in relation to the game's plot, Star Quest's color palette will consist only of cyan shades and black/white...
