The game I have been working on for several months now, Shoot 'Em!, is finally released! You can now play it for free on Game Jolt or Itch.io (although if you end up donating that'd be pretty cool). Link to the game pages: https://gamejolt.com/games/shootem/574220 or https://yaboikeiffy.itch.io/shootem
Also, shout outs to Gushee and Sean for making the game's sprites and game's music respectively.

Nice! I like the art style! Thumbs ... !
Re: Shoot 'Em! is Out!
This game is sick! I died on 1-4 and was sad I couldn't continue from there... I really really love the art and music. One thing is I wish the enemies took less hits to kill, 5 hits seems really steep, I usually prefer 1 or 2 hits to kill unless it's like a fighting game or something. I loved how the levels ramped up in difficulty too. I really like challenging platformers so I really liked the levels as they got harder. I do think the character's jump is a little too tight, I feel like it could be a little higher to be a little more forgiving. The enemy patterns were super sick I liked how challenging they were to kill and navigate around. I think my favorite enemy I saw was the jumping red waffle. Sometimes it would run right into me and other times it would jump over me which I thought was awesome. I was a little confused why this game was nearly half a GB so I opened up the .exe and saw that all the music is in .wavs. Although it's nice to have high quality music (i make music myself) i usually convert music in games to either .mp3 or .ogg because they take up like a 10th of the space. If you changed that, I'd imagine this game would be around 30mb or something which is way nicer to download. Overall this game is cool and challenging!!! I also really liked the ladder mechanics lol I would snipe the shooty enemies on the ladder. v v v nice!!
