I had that in Pidgin for a while, too! But now I use Kopete.

ahh, why not - that's mine... Arch Linux (Arch64) - what you see here is OpenBox and LXPanel - and the most important part of my desktop, tilda terminal (you don't see it but it's ready to pop out from top on any super+tilda anywhere anytime )

Yes. I was considering buying a second monitor when I started coding. Using notepad and having 4-5 different instances open at once became pretty counter-productive. I found myself Mass-Closing all of them and re-opening the ones I needed.
