Typer Master - Basic typing game

Post by tarhses »

Hi everyone, first time posting here :awesome: ! A while ago, I made a really basic (and unoriginal) typing game called Typer Master. I just cleaned the GitHub repo, so I thought I'd share it here. You can download it there.

The goal is really simple : in two minutes you must type as much words as possible. Each letter gives you 5 points, and each error costs 3 points.

Please don't hesitate to share any thoughts, highscore, or correct my English :3.
Have fun !

I only saw one typo: "screwdiver"

Anyway: the background, the font, the animations... they all fit a horror theme. Put in a background music and sound effects and the chilling effects would make something out of it.

I imagine Jigsaw watching me with this statement:
"I want to play a game. Here's what would happen if you lose: All of your fingers get cut off."

This could potentially amp up the tension... and depending on who's playing (me for example) increases the fun factor.

Yes, it definitively lacks on the audio side :P, it was actually more of a little toy game for practising than anything else.
But an "horror typing game", that's actually a very cool and inspiring idea ! I'm currently working on something else entirely but I might return to this someday.
Thanks for your feedback !
