Thank you for the comments! I haven't checked this one because "life". But just to clarify something: The "You lose your right to win" isn't really a standard, so I didn't implement it. You only have 3 choices:
1. Move your general away (or block it)
2. Accept the Draw Offer
3. Resign

Welp. The Quarantine helped me revisit this work of mine. I don't have the heart to edit the post for sentimental reasons, but here's the latest iteration:

hello? I'm a Korean. I can test your janggi gui and engine. But unfortunately I don't know how to get your files to run on windows 10.

You need to install Love2d first. Get the version that matches your computer here: https://love2d.org/
Once installed, you can just double-click the .love file to run the game. I briefly tested it, and it seems to work for me.
Any code samples/ideas by me should be considered Public Domain (no attribution needed) license unless otherwise stated.
