The coalition we have now consists of the Christian-But-Not-Too-Christian party, which has managed to fuck things up so many times the last few years, get slashed at the latest general elections, and still make it into the coalition, and the liberal party, which is basically the Dutch variant of the Conservatives in the UK and the Republicans in the US. And to make matters worse, because they are a minority coalition, they are held hostage by (officially tolerated by) our little blond Hitler metaphor. And (this is where things get really crazy), because those three parties together still only have 50% + 1 of the seats, and the NSDAP—I mean the Freedom Party—has a seat belonging to someone who turned out to have done all kinds of bad shit, but doesn't want to give up his seat so that he can't be replaced by the someone else, which means that party is held hostage as well. So yeah, we might have a bit of a situation.
