Hi, I'm working on a Love2D game for iPhone, and I'm curious, how can I make the game respect iPhone X bezels? By that I mean, run only in the safe area of iPhone X screen (do not use the top and bottom parts with the bezel and the rounded corners)?

There isn't a way to detect the safe area in released versions of LÖVE, but 11.3 (in development) adds a function for it: love.window.getSafeArea.
