Just putting out there the tetris-like game I've been doing.
source code:
https://github.com/josepedrodias/tetrisl
love file (works in android too):
https://josepedrodias.github.io/tetrisl ... etris.love
a recent tweet of the android gameplay:
https://twitter.com/jose_pedro_dias/sta ... 4577318914
The game is pretty much feature complete. I wanted to mimic the playability of tetris99 and get my feet wet on lua and love2d internals.
Not sure whether I should try to create a VS mode with luasocket or leave it for another, more original challenge (god knows which one, hard to come up with original, feasible ideas). Feedback appreciated.

Re: TetrisL
Why exactly did you include on your github readme to install luasocket when löve already includes it?
Me and my stuff True Neutral Aspirant. Why, yes, i do indeed enjoy sarcastically correcting others when they make the most blatant of spelling mistakes. No bullying or trolling the innocent tho.

Re: TetrisL
That's for server side development purposes. But yeah, that should be clearly stated, thanks!
Re: TetrisL
Complicated t spins are completely broken a block should never teleport inside another, and I would strongly suggest copying nes teris control nuances.
If I put a t block into a 2 wide well and spin, it should flip the piece not do weird things with the three wide versions
red to yellow to green were slightly wrong but functional; green to blue was just super off
