tanz.love lets you create and explore euclidean rhythms.
Everything code is open source and the price is just for the convenience of not building from source. I will give anyone who asks a promocode to get it for free.

Shipped my first project: tanz.love - A euclidean rhythm generation toy/tool.
Re: Shipped my first project: tanz.love - A euclidean rhythm generation toy/tool.
Pretty cool! I'm having a problem, though - increasing the number of divisions sometimes causes that channel (L or R) to have a delay until it starts again. By number of divisions I mean the one with this icon: ⬌
Restarting fixes it.

Not sure what is causing the delay. Will see if I can reproduce and figure it out. Thanks for the feedback!
Re: Shipped my first project: tanz.love - A euclidean rhythm generation toy/tool.
Here's how I reproduce it:
- Start with a fresh copy (delete or rename the save folder).
- Set the fade balance to the centre approximately (wouldn't it make more sense if that was the default?).
- Change # to 2 (in the R channel, first drums)
- Change ⬌ to 4
- Go to the L channel
- Change # to 3
- Optionally change the wave to something distinguishable (e.g. CP)
- Change ⬌ to 2
- Increase ⬌ and observe this channel gets muted for a while (decreasing it again seems to solve it).
BTW I tried to make a rhythm box back in the ZX Spectrum times. I didn't get very far, as the sound capabilities of the Spectrum are not great. You've done a fantastic job!

I'm not getting any audio at all. Everything appears to function normally, but there is no audio on my LG G6.

Fix for the timing issue has been deployed and if you installed through the app store, you should get the update automatically. If you install yourself or are running on windows you will have to get version 1.0.3+ from http://tanz.love.
That is odd, is it possible to provide any other information, such as android os version?DanielPower wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2018 8:51 pm I'm not getting any audio at all. Everything appears to function normally, but there is no audio on my LG G6.
