this needs black wholes and massive gravity to go along with it, would be very entertaining if larger objects drew in other objects to them. although everything would just bunch up witch would be horrible.

You don't need "follow" original concept. Go with one of your own.
Suggestions:
- Give to each new ball a random new color.
- Our ball could have a more "bouncy" behaviour and not 90 degrees turns since it's after all too... a ball

Uploaded a new version of döts.
I fixed the circle collisions, as they were horribly broken. I also added an insta-kill mode.
The biggest change however, is the addition of an "ndöts" version, which runs on nLÖVE-supported platforms. It has been optimized for the Caanoo.
