[LD39] Spacesquid Spaceship
It was created by Ikroth, myself, and an artist friend.
It has you balancing your time between clicking on enemies in each of the rooms to destroy them, powering up power grids and turrets, and recharging power using the dynamo interface. Power is constantly draining so you have to be quick. The goal is to restore power to all rooms, while not allowing any room to get full of enemies, and not running out of power.
I recommend the post-jam version, since I rebalanced it to require less clicking, improved the warning indication, and improved enemy spawning behaviors, along with some other fixes. It might be harder though. If you want to play the original version, that is available for download as well.
It was our first time working with isometric tiles, so we learned a lot about that between the art and code. We spent a lot of time getting screen-space transformations to work right (screen to canvas to camera to isometric is a lot to think of at once) but it was nice once we finally got it to work properly.
