Is that right? I don't think there's anything against it, except maybe your own personal moral codes or something. Personally, I just don't think I'm good enough to be worth anyone's money, but if I thought I was, I might self promote too.

On a different note, I think charging people $14/hour to do game assets sounds potentially very scammy, I mean, what's to stop the artist from taking a few "extra" hours to do something really easy. Not saying OP would, just that it's a system that has no checks or balances.

Since there are no forums rules afaik, I don't think that there are any hard rules against it. I don't have anything against self promotion either. But I don't think it belongs in a "Libraries and Tools" forum and I don't think, that you need to spam content slices again and again just to keep the thread on top.

Well, on one hand, what one does to achieve search engine "optimizations" is up to them; clearly, this person decided that advertising their talent on game creation forums was a viable thing to do for them, which it actually can be.

I did agree on that this should be moved to general above; also, the art's decent enough, though i can't shake the feeling that this art style exactly evokes the kind of art direction i tend to see in shitty mobile and facebook """"games""", which makes me a bit sad.
