It's our pleasure to announce that Breaking Fast has won the Public Choice Award at Gamepolis 2016! It was amazing seing how people of all ages enjoyed our game, and it's been a boost of motivation to continue improving the game. This is the second award that we've won (the first one was the award to the second best game in Mallorca Game), and we hope it's not the last one!
Good to see you've got recognition, the game seems to have an unique personality to it.
Of course, more Love2D games on Steam and award ceremonies also help legitimize Löve itself as a serious game framework. When one of us wins, everyone in the community wins in a way.
Sure, that's why I love sharing this on this forum as fast as I can. I think that this can give a boost of motivation to other developers who are thinking about using this great framework for more than prototypes
Agreed. The more of us putting games on Steam, the closer we get to removing some of the friction between Löve and Steam. It'd be amazing to see the same strides made in Steam integration that we've seen made in getting Löve onto Android/iOS (which has just been jaw-droppingly awesome).
