Phew!
Ludum Dare was tons of fun. I'm finally done with my game and quite happy with it all in all.

How did it go for everyone else?

Re: Ludum Dare 37 - Jam together!
The code is bad, the gameplay is bland, it's buggy, and the art is very.. meh.
But all in all, I'm happy with what I've made. It's pretty fun.

@Sheepolution: I won! Awesome game!
@evgiz: Beautiful game, and the music was good too. Is it really that short?
@Tjakka5: It looks cool but I don't have Windows so I couldn't try it out.

Thank you! Yeah the game is fairly short, I tried to focus on polish instead since people playing LD games usually don't have much time anyway Also my first time making proper music so glad to hear it wasn't awful hahaeasy82 wrote: @evgiz: Beautiful game, and the music was good too. Did you play the web version? Just curious about the love.js performance on other systems.
I agree, its pretty fun! I like the way you had the mouse control the camera, never thought of that! Btw I checked out your library Lovox, its really cool. I'm the guy who made sprit3r which you mentioned in your post, small world haha.Tjakka5 wrote:But all in all, I'm happy with what I've made. It's pretty fun.

Yes, I like it! It has nice graphics and the music is relaxing. The game itself is a bit too unforgiving though, and it would have been nice to shoot with the mouse. The only thing I'm really missing is an auto-restart feature. Nice work, and thanks for the .love version!Tjakka5 wrote:I have edited the post with a download link to the source.

You're right, but I was expecting someting like a temperature-meter and fighting against the cold. That could have expanded the gameplay. I was playing the web version from Linux Mint, using Chromium on a 6-years-old laptop. The performance was good but not stellar, somewhere around 20 FPS I think.evgiz wrote:Thank you! By the way, you and Tjakka together could have made a "player vs zombies and the cold" game.
