Hey everyone,
So I just finished/published my first ever game called Casua which you can check out here..
https://red-forest.itch.io/casua
It took me about 10 months to completely finish which is probably waaaay too long, but everything was still pretty new to me and school work has been a bit of a pain.
Anyway, just a bit of a thank you for all the people on these forums who helped me out with my silly questions haha. Had a load of fun using Löve and will definitely use it again!

Re: Casua
Looks awesome, I dig the art style. Congrats on finishing your game!
Re: Casua
I wonder, what is this EU VAT MOSS 2015 thingy that wants me to enter my adress etc.? I found this quite the showstopper in the purchase progress, tbh. If you have control over this (the text in the window suggests so), maybe you can evaluate if you really need this?
Otherwise, looks promising!

Unfortunately as i'm based in the EU they need the address for VAT purposes so I don't have any control over it But thank you for checking it out!riidom wrote:I wonder, what is this EU VAT MOSS 2015 thingy that wants me to enter my adress etc.? *Not a lawyer.*
He doesn't. At least, either he uses the address (or at least country) the end-consumer provides to calculate the appropriate EU Value-added tax madness that started being applied to non-businesses circa 2015 as well, or he opts in to use the MOSS, which is basically a less problematic solution, partially automatized, in that itch.io will do the handling stuff instead of the seller. Suffice it to say, just more money one has to pay for goods, in this case, digital.
Also, the above paragraph is probably a horrible explanation, and i'm sure someone can write a better one; but it does tell you the why.
A few articles, including itch.io's own blog, explaining things better than me:
