My .love file won't play :|

I compiled my project /thing into a .rar/.zip file, then edited the file type to .love, when it was in folder form it would play fine, but now when i double click the .love file it just flickers the love screen on for like half a second,not even, without even loading.

I'm stuck here, my game.conf file says

The files (main.lua, game.conf, etc) must be in the root of the .zip-file. RAR is not supported.

I did use .zip as well nothing and those files are in the root.

Edit: It might be the application that im using to zip my files, i'm installing a new winzip trial to see if that works.

Edit 2: Still nothing, i also tried re zipping someone else's project to test it, it didn't work so it's something to do with my compression maybe ?

And i don't really get the whole licensing thing, so the things i used in this are made by zeddy (The console), the song is from http://binaerpilot.no/, the images are made by my friend, (at school), and Xfcn and cag(you ) helped to make that code for the jump .

And if someone could help me as well with how to license (free), so that i'm not doing anything illegal lol.

Easy fix. You don't put the whole folder in the zip: you put the contents of the folder in the zip.

So i just add the contents to a zip rather then archiving the file ?
