Hey my name is Semeon,
If anyone needs a partner in programming a game I am more than glad to help you. My experience with love2d is small but within a 1 week game jam I managed to learn if not everything almost everything I had to, because I had a (1) week-off from my practice. As result I was able to focus on learning LOVE2D and I managed to build a small game. As I previously mentioned if you want a partner, let me know I would be really happy to help out.
