Hello people! This is my version of the famous arcade game TRON for Love2d. I know it's not made in the most efficient way and I should have used modules and all that, but it's still something!
Let me know what you think!
Red cycle/snake/whatever is controlled with WASD.
Green cycle/snake/whatever is controlled with arrow keys.

It's not a bot - It's supposed to be a second player. I wrote it's controls tooClyybber wrote:The bot kills itself.
Re: TRÖN - test
neat! A simple improvement would be to also display some instructions when you display "press Enter" or whatever. i.e.
Controls (in white. Maybe with a line drawn underneath)
Red: WASD (in red)
Green: arrow keys (in green)

Re: TRÖN - test
oooh!
You could fix the starting countdown text blurriness by making a larger font.
From graphics.newFont on the wiki:
font = love.graphics.newFont( filename, size )

I ran this and it was working fine until the countdown ended.

Nice coding skills too.

Re: TRÖN - test
Yes, that did happen, though at the moment I'm unsure whether it was the game or my machine since Windows Explorer just crashed about 2 hours ago - I'm not trying to blame it on anyone, I'll try and see if I can replicate it when I have time. Thanks, you too!steVeRoll wrote:Wait were you joking or did that seriously happen?

Edit: Just tried it now, it worked - sorry!
