Hey, that is cheating!one87 wrote:Haha, allright.Elvenrix wrote:Yes! That is exaclty what i wanted to sayRobin wrote:Something like alosereasy mode?
Just change line 10: turns_max=25 -- max number of turns
Or alternativ remove line 113
Have fun
I am still trying to solve once (without cheating )zac352 wrote:I beat it in 12.Elvenrix wrote:Very nice.

Re: Colorpix
I must be really good at it.
The secret to it is to drill as far out as possible, not to fill.

I managed to win a few times by now, but not even close to 12 moves
Re: Colorpix
Simple and clean implementation of a fun concept. I only noticed one bug and I'll leave it up to you if it's actually a bug, but: If you click on the same color you clicked on last turn it still uses a turn, even when in theory this would never benefit you.
Re: Colorpix
hi, this is no bug. it's a feature for users who click the same color twice

Re: Colorpix
When I first saw the screen shot I was actually worried this would be very similar to one of my colour matching ideas. In fact it's quite different... and... well, much better
Congrats one87, this is a fantastic game

Re: Colorpix
One87,
I created a modified version including a menu screen which lets people easily choose between hard (25 moves) and easy (35) moves and saves a high-score for each mode. Would it be alright with you if I posted this? I sincerely apologize if even asking is bad form in the Love community, as I'm not sure how people here feel about having others so easily modify their work.
(The tiles in the background change colors.)
Regards,
Nin

No, I sincerely apologise on behalf of the community if we've come across as people that easily upset. We're a community based on friendly, open-sourced game development so looking, modifying and learning from other peoples code is encouraged. I'm very glad you asked one87 for permission to repost. What people can/can't do with original code is off course up to the owner of that code so asking permission to repost is very polite and respectful. In regards to what I have quoted above though I definitely don't want you to feel like you have done anything wrong, or that this is bad form here. We're all here to help and to learn.ninwa wrote:I sincerely apologize if even asking is bad form in the Love community
