[Game] Galactus Golf (TOJam)

Hey all,

I made a game at TOJam this weekend. It's sort of a cross between Osmos (or Katamari Damacy) and Mini-Putt (or Desert Golf). It was a solo project except for the one Galactus asset which I had a friend whip up.

It turned out pretty well. The best parts of it, IMO, are the Galactus asset, the decision to removing damping on the "ball" when you win a level and I like how the Blackhole type object looks (in the later three levels).

Levels were made with a very simple editor that I threw together. The planet textures (except the Earth) are procedurally generated using simplex noise (which is why they look so bad :P). The "rolling effect" on the planets is achieved with moderate success by offsetting the UVs on the circle mesh whenever the physics body moves. Combined with an alpha texture that is darker towards the edges to give the appearance of a sphere... sort of.
