[LD34] Dangomari [LOVE3D]

The controls are NOT WASD. Use W+Up for left/right forward and S+Down for left/right reverse.

Known bug: shadows don't work on some GPU's/drivers.

It's a Katamari-like game, what's to explain? Use two joystick Y axes, WS+UD, or both shift+ctrl keys.

As is tradition, another LD with LOVE3D! We had some technical difficulties this time, so it's not nearly as polished as would have been possible if Karai's computer hadn't gone out in a brilliant fireball, but it's a decent tech demo and we did manage to get all the basics mostly working.

Are you running the exe or the love? If love, which version are you using? What version of OpenGL do you have?

I'm on OS X. I downloaded the one from the Download link on the Source page.

I don't see an OS X download.

Yeah, if you were trying to run on 0.9.2 our conf.lua will crash it (because we call l.fs.(get|set)RequirePath). This is why I hate providing .love files.

EDIT: I updated the itch downloads to fix some crashes , maybe it will actually show the error screen on 0.9.2 now also (I made it check for the probably-offending functions). Fixed some rendering errors on OS X with help from slime.

updated to fix some control issues: default controls are now QE+AD (so people don't try to use WASD controls and think you can only spin around), fixed over-sensitive joystick inputs, added 5 second overlay that tells you the controls.

I suck, so I had to cheat more time. I got stuck, so I had to horribly implement jump.... I wished I could eat everything, so I increased growth. Now I want to eat the chairs, the ground and the earth too! :o

Awesome job, I'm glad you took the time to tinker with it. :D I'm also glad that you made that li'l dango's dream come true and allowed it to be as big as a house~ :3

If you want to eat the chairs et al, you can open level.lua and disable "ghost" on the objects. :)
