Critique #1 your presentation is horrible. I didn't play the game yet, but you need to add more pizzazz to your presentation. This is your game that you spent time making. Present it with pride and put effort into making a quality post/itch.io page.

thank you for your critique. would you mind suggesting ways of making it look more appealing?

Simple but well accomplished idea. Is mouse handling in the plans?

At the very least, you can add a screenshot of the game.

Tell us about the game. Provide gameplay screenshots. Etc... Basically treat it as an advertisement kinda. Why should we care about this cool game you made? Is it because it features x inside of it? Or is it because the art style is similar to y?

A fun simple little game, I somewhat agree about the presentation, and a screenshot and basic description of the game and controls are a very good idea, however it's a fun little distraction. Just a thought, a local highscore?

This good game. But need sound. I recommend LabChirp.

PS: Maybe some music too (license requires attribution so put their name in game and link on itch if you use them).
lg.newImage("cat.png") -- made possible by lg = love.graphics
-- Don't force fullscreen (it frustrates those who want to try your game real quick) -- Develop for 1280x720 (so people can make HD videos)
