Lua and love

I am learning love2d now I already know the basics of lua are they the same thing what I have seen they are totally almost totally different what are the similarities

No, LÖVE and Lua aren't the same things. Love2D is a game engine that needs Lua to work. And without using a game engine, Lua would basically be nothing but a console. There are other game engines that use Lua but Love2D is just one specific one. So to keep it short, Love2D is an extension to Lua that allows you to make games. It's HIGHLY reccomended to learn Lua before you move onto LÖVE so if you don't know yet, I'd suggest checking out the Lua-Users wiki or Programming in Lua
