Because it takes a filename.

It can take code as of 0.9.2 too, but it apparently thinks it's a filename if it contains no newlines
lf = love.filesystem
ls = love.sound
la = love.audio
lp = love.physics
lt = love.thread
li = love.image
lg = love.graphics

The relevant comment in the code says "// Treat the string as Lua code if it's long or has a newline.", where long is apparently 1024 characters.

some melee attacks

「JANKENPON」 - punches three times really fast in succession

Image

「CHARGE UPPERCUT」 - charges aura up and releases it as a punch

Image

「GUARD BURST」 - takes a defensive stance against bullies and charges aura up, releasing it later dealing damage to everyone nearby

Image

「HOWLING GALE」 - dash forwards so fast that after a moment the time of opponents is compressed, leaving them open to multiple attacks

I've changed my game/focus since a while back, I'm now making a 2.5D rogue game set in a post-apoc wasteland on another planet.
