[WIP] Protect Me

Hey guys and girls o/

Today, i'm proud to announce the first playable version of my upcoming(and first) game: protect me
:awesome: :awesome: :awesome:

So..
In this game, you'll control a ship that protects the planet from very bad (and very cute) meteors.

I plan to launch it in a more polished version, in the Mozilla platform. So, please guys, give me as much feedback as you can. I will be very grateful :awesome:

EDIT: Download "protect me.love". This is the current version of the game, working on LOVE 0.10.0

This is great!! :awesome:
I'm new to programming and am using LOVE as a fun supplement. This gives me some more hope.
Now that I think about it, I should probably start with something simpler like this that's not a full rpg survival/shooter. lol

What kind of animation you think would be cool?
I had thought of do something like: "they decelerate as soon as they take a shot and then, there appears a smoke".. Things to think..
What kind of improvement would be nice to make the game more dynamic? In the current version, it is pretty uneventful.

Hey, I like this, are you using shaders to make that "old movie" effect?

EDIT: Looks like you forgot the mousepressed callback(?) I can't play it :(
