Press the arrow keys when the squares come towards you, to the beat of the music.Nixola wrote:How to play?

Even the command line output of the game is cool!
But oh boy that website is not very usable so here is the readme.txt:

Love the effects, love the music, reminds me of my lovelove for the game called 140 (featured in one humble bundle).
I was still unsure what I should be doing exactly when I finished playing though.

Here's a play with keypress (key-mon on Linux) overlay:Rhythmable is... A rhythm game.
Press the arrows keys to the beat of the music when the red squares come near the cute guy.

lg.newImage("cat.png") -- made possible by lg = love.graphics
-- Don't force fullscreen (it frustrates those who want to try your game real quick) -- Develop for 1280x720 (so people can make HD videos)

Sure, this was a one hour experiment. If I ever was to make a full game out of this, there would indeed be instructions on how to play.qubodup wrote:I was still unsure what I should be doing exactly when I finished playing though.
Talking of that, I wonder if I should make a full game out of this prototype. Like, with different songs, difficulties, and even custom songs importing. I think that could be a cool little rhythm game for iOS and Android. I still have to think about that and see if people would be interested in it.
Also, I just uploaded a new build (just re-download the game) that fixes a huge issue with key detection. The whole game should now be way more responsive and should detect better whether you're in the tempo or not. Which means, it should be easier to play and, this said, to understand as well.

Ooh boy my eyes hurt, good lord.
But besides that, yeah, go make this a mobile game, go flesh this out, go do something with this!
For an hour of work that's pretty gud stuf m8, but on a serious note, yeah this is something that could definitely be expanded upon.
Android at least as far as I know, lacks any noteworthy music games bar Deemo, so boom, easy beating the shit out of competition!
