hardware cursor disappears after a second on mac

Post by cigumo »

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a Love2D or SDL2 issue, but maybe someone can help me out.

When setting a custom mouse cursor, it works for a second or less, and then it switches back to the default cursor.
I've checked and I'm not resetting the cursor in my code anywhere.

I'm using Love2D 0.9.2 in Mac OS 10.10.5.

Anyone had this issue?

Thanks!

Can you post a small .love file that produces the issue for you? I'm using the same OS version and can't reproduce it using a small test I made.

Odd. I can't reproduce it with the .love you uploaded (0.9.2, Linux).
Help us help you: attach a .love.

Me neither on win7, though i hope you realize, the rectangular area you gave as the "detection" area is bigger than the white square.

Thanks everybody... maybe it's just a video driver glitch for my particular setup.
I'm now confident I can use the feature because it will work for others :)

That's weird.. I can't reproduce the issue with your .love either. It could be some third-party software interfering from the background or something, I guess.
