Yeah, the Chinese is indeed difficult to learn, but you can study it by analogyRoland_Yonaba wrote:Nin Hao!

For example, "Hello" is equivalent to "你好", spelled "ni hao"
I very pleased to encounter who learn Chinese, learning pleasure!

(Hello,everyone)
RPGs are fairly simple to program (as opposed to, say, a shooter), however, they generally require a lot more content (music, maps, characters (which probably have animations), lists of random encounters, items and all their stats, and, of course, all the dialogue...). Do you have other people to help you with all that content, or do you plan on trying to do it all yourself?infinte wrote:哎呦,遇到自己人了。我目前有利用 love2d 制作 RPG 的打算,正好 0.8.0 版本即将支持中文输出。但是我主要是写 js 的,lua 有点不习惯……
JavaScript is, in my personal opinion, inferior to Lua. As you get more familiar with Lua, you'll find yourself wishing JS was more flexible. But once you un-learn some of your JS habits, Lua should be pretty easy for you.
Earliest Love2D supporter who can't Love anymore. Let me disable pixel shaders if I don't use them, dammit!

Re: 大家好(Hello,everyone)
I've been writing JS for years. Recently I am developing a js-implemented, js-targeted compiler called Eisa, runs on node. All them (incl. js & lua) are great. The "language war" is endless.Taehl wrote:RPGs are fairly simple to program (as opposed to, say, a shooter), however, they generally require a lot more content (music, maps, characters (which probably have animations), lists of random encounters, items and all their stats, and, of course, all the dialogue...).
