ah, you are the softball lib creator, i love the softbody very much, and did some more work from your idea. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=80570
now with some texture go with the softbodies.
I would support your kickstarter, but it looks like we're going to be competitors.
...Haha, I'm kidding of course, I'd like to make a softbody-centric platformer but it will certainly be a different style from yours. I wish you the best of luck! Game devs gotta stick together. (Get it? stick... nevermind) Thanks for the assistance.
Hey, I see that your Kickstarter is probably not going to meet the goal.
Don't take it personally - perhaps Kickstarter may not be right platform for a game like this.
Also, there are many alternative paths you can take so don't get discouraged.
One suggestion I have is to build a playerbase and start playtesting as early as possible -
and there are several ways you can do that.

Kickstarter was my last-ditch effort to fund development, now that it has essentially failed, its pretty unlikely that I'll be able to fund development. There are no other 'paths' anymore, I've done everything I can.
Your KS campaign is not a failure since you did get a few backers.
Also, it's good to look at gamedev as a the long term thing.
You lose a lot of credibility IMO if your project rests entirely on KS.
