Nothing but some basic things, but hey, it has various weapons you can pick/play with.

This is just a prototype, nothing special. But then it's better to get thoughts earlier rather than later.

LOVE file...

If nothing else, it's fun to draw patterns using the projectiles.

I too am working on a SHMUP engine game thingy. I always admired R-Type and the like even if the games were so hard.

Really wish I'd gotten more time to work on this; regrettably, LOVE doesn't take so kindly to 10+ year old hardware.
