Free game resources
Re: Free game resources
I added http://concernedjoe.com/devblog/hardcoding-slopes/ to the wiki page. It shows a tidy way to handle slopes and curves in a tile-based game.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

Just happened across this cool 3D Modelling/Animation software that uses Lua scripts to make animations and stuff.

Xelu had a presentation on how he implemented death animations. He uploaded it here:

A new project that's well underway at the moment with some free stuff, I don't know weather the list has to be for exclusively free site or not.

Re: Free game resources
I have something that might be useful for most people creating tile based games.
The tiles are 11 x 11 pixels each. All of the tiles are separated by a colored pixel to prevent myself from overwriting other tiles and to keep things organized and also, these tiles are in grey-scale so they can be colored.
