hi everyone, ive been working on a quick airhocky game with love2d to increase my lua skills, and for the fun of it.
currently, i have a basic 2 player air hockey game controled with keyboard and wasad. first to 7 points wins.

To Do list:

-better graphics-
-sound
-make visible goals
-make scoreboard
-create .love file.
-Create AI?

V1 release notes:
currently its .zip form and needs to be extracted and then dragged into love2d to run, because i am to tired to make it autorun right now, cause its 12:07 at night...
its mostly a mash based off the tutorials, but im learning and im proud of my little baby.

Pretty interesting, although the controls are a bit too fast for my liking.

Making a love file is as easy as making a .zip file with the main.lua file in the top level, then renaming awesomegame.zip to awesomegame.love.

I'm looking forward to more progress!

I can tweak the speed of the puck, i was gonna do it already, but i forgot to get around to it before release .
i might try for an ai mode too.

about compressing the .love file, im currently on a mac with osx leopard, how can i drag them into a zip file?
i tryed to watch the video but it didn't play.

Just select all the files inside the folder, right-click (or control-click if you only have one button) and select "Compress n Items" - that'll create a file called "Archive.zip". Rename that to "mygame.love" and you should have a working .love file - you can test by double-clicking on it to see if it opens in LÖVE properly.

cool variation of pong, i think i have never seen an air hockey game for the pc before.
for me .zip files dragged on love.exe start too by the way.

That all depends on how they are packaged, a lot of first-time users zip the folder instead of the contents.
