That's cool! Good luck, I hope you finish! I've always wanted to remake games of my childhood (Galaxian, LoZ, Pokemon, etc.). Just out of curiosity, will it be an exact clone?

I'll try to make it as exact as possible. I don't have the time nor motivation to add every single feature from the games but I'll make it possible for players to make their own adventure.

What sprites are you using for the pokemon and what gens are you going to include in your game ?

I'm using gen 1 sprites (im not a genwunner, I just chose gen 1 because it's the most simple).
I'm going to add all 151 pokemon I hope from gen 1 but you'll be able to create custom pokemon with .json :awesome: .

I've actually been using love2D for a whole bunch of projects, but I never really checked out the forums.
Here's a collection of projects I've started but never really finished:

Will and Hen's Average Adventure

It has beat detection so the background lights up on beat. It uses an algorithm that doesn't require FFT.

Spooky 3D Game

Bako Ikimashou!

Puzzle-solving game. This is a demo of a trampoline that shoots you to a goal set by the map editor.

Tetris: Block Ops Zombies

IsoFancy

Isometric zombie game engine.
