Sending you a PM because this is getting widely off-topic.

I did. It took me some time, though. I'll forward it to you too, Roland.

EDIT: actually, I'll make a new thread if more people are interested in this. I don't want to derail this thread.

Somewhat earlier there was a question of data. Namely, what evidence is there that sexual library names affect participation and adoption?

People who otherwise may have evangelized löve include: parents, educators, professionals, religious Christians / Jews / Muslims, even siblings and children.

Allow me to extrapolate from my own experience. I don't tell anyone about löve, mostly because when they browse the forum, which they undoubtedly will, they will encounter the sexualized names, associating me with the mental images those names evoke.

Thus when asked about game frameworks, I tell people about libGDX or others, but not löve. In fact, I will likely never release a game using löve anywhere but on this forum.

I'm impressed, I think you're the first one to bring religion into this. Perhaps we shouldn't show women without burqa either?

OMG! Why everyone need to satirize or make fun of EVERY argument presented in here? You have all the right to be sarcastic, but this won't help in ANY way the discussion.

I don't know why, but people are taking this topic as a rule, or a law, like, everyone need to change their library names or they will be burned in hell. Dude, it's an advice, if you don't want to follow it, don't! You don't need to change your library name, you don't need to do anything said in this topic. Again, it's an advice.

I think that names like that won't help the community. If you find it funny, okay, no problem. Just be concious in what was said in this topic.

I seriously think that someone having to explain this shouldn't be needed, you know.

When did some even show women on this forum, just asking?

Where's the satire? Must have missed it and don't want to reread the thread.
