What game? As far as i can tell all you have is an idea for a game, And you're (ridiculously) looking for people to join a community that's all about a game that doesn't exist yet.
I personally think you should at least have something more than some concept images and an idea to show before you start trying to grow a community around it.

We had lots more, until we decided to convert to java. The graphics are nearly completed, with the note that sprites still need to be created. The engine for all our idea's are literally in the Visual Basic engine, every single one. Its all in their. I started out with Visual Basic and the engine that I chose because I didn't have any other options, really. It was all I knew. I have a team now, and I am not currently searching for staff, I do not need help in that regard.
I already built the community because I had most of what I needed, and the development of the game was going rather smooth. I have some 200+ unique (unique as in 200 for each) items, NPC's, quests, maps, the whole works, all in the VB6 engine. I have a few followers, but its getting there. Once the nitty-gritty of the engine is done, we will have tons to show. Such as the combat screen, the GUI throughout the game, maps, etc.

Contemplating on make a thread about StarBound. If we are going to talk about 2d rpgs that are unrelated to Löve we might as well talk about something that exists and is good.

Starbound is a very nice 2D rpg game.

It's actually a repetitive grind fest with hilarious stat inflation for items. Dynamically generated monsters look like smiling colorful pokemon that don't fit in their environment. Other sprites look good though.
Let's hope they will improve as their team gets more experience, not expecting much for quite a while since it's designed by an artist and it seems to be going in a "lol I'm so silly brain tree" direction.
I don't really care for the illusory beta tag, today it seems to be a prevalent marketing trend to label your product as alpha/beta only to avoid negative reception yet still sell it.

it's more of a alpha than a beta.

Being 15 years old one would think you'd be able to at least read through the entire post.jjmafiae wrote:it isn't done though, it's more of a alpha than a beta.

Or instead, we can keep it on-topic. If you are interested in Starbound, you may start a new topic. If you are interested in Chaoscraft, then you may stay here. Thanks.

No we may not start a new topic about starbound, we may start a new topic about löve related stuff.
