Mine Jumper - Fast-paced mine cart game for Flappy Jam

Oh gosh this is difficult! Way fun, though. Would love a local multiplayer version, or at least an online-highscore list...

I think there was one or two times ( not sure - too much going on ) where the boulders came from off the screen, from the left, so the arrow did not show.
Also, there are situations in which, even with some practice, I was not able to avoid the boulders - three of them fell at the same time, and I had to jump: I'm not sure if it's even possible to jump between them.

It's like a cactaur got thrown into a DKC level. Freaking hilarious! My only disappointment is that this is not the background music.
Really simple (and fun) game. Nice job!

Very neat! My only suggestion would be to add WASD support, and to include SPACE for the "tap to start".

Thanks! I figure an online high score list and online multiplayer is a little much for a game jam.

As for the boulders, 99% of the time, there's always a way to avoid them, whether it be moving left or moving right at the instant the arrows start blinking. Admittedly though, it is possible to get completely screwed over. But hey, all in the name of the flappy jam!

Good suggestion! I've made a couple of small tweaks to the game and including this, I'll probably reupload it once I've done enough significant changes.

I'm not a fan of the genre (rage quitter) but this is really well done, looks and sounds and feels like you put a lot of löve (badum tshhhh) into it.

Just wanted to say how much I love this game. I downloaded it when I first got into LÖVE and still play it several times a week.

It's great for killing a few minutes. Would be cool to see this on android
