None so far as I know :)

But I'm sure there are limits I'm not thinking of. In general, you should be able to load any number of tile and object layers.

Might take a crack at using it. I'm using the ATL right now for my maps. It's kind of choking on really large maps (Kadoba said he was going to work on it). But I might try saving a map out to a lua file and use zoetrope to read it.

This is awesome framework! It have all what I need!

Now I am want to try port this on Love 0.9.0. So, klembot, are you want to continue support this in near future? If yes, I help you.

And know - I am - your fan!

Snuux:
I'm not sure where Klembot is at with working on a new version for 0.9.0. I know he was working on refactoring some stuff but that may have changed.

I have done some initial work along with another user http://libzoetrope.org/forums/index.php/topic,60.0.html.
Any help you could provide would be appreciated even if its just testing.

You may want to try out these tools https://github.com/bjorn/tiled/wiki#related-tools.
tileset_baker and tmxOptimizer have me a lot with larger more complex maps.

Just wanted to let everyone know I was able to get Zoetrope running under Love 0.9.0 https://bitbucket.org/cluke009/zoetrope

Feel free to test it out on your projects. Would be nice to get some more eyes on this.

Hello!
Sorry for posting in this old thread, but I have made a little game using Zoetrope a few years ago, and I just saw that the website of the project was down... I suppose that Zoetrope is discontinued? Do you know if someone took back the development? :o: It would be perfect for the incoming Global Game Jam! :neko:

Agree with previous author. Zoetrope - awesome framework. It is unfortunate that the development does not continue(
