Audio File Types

Post by matej »

Hello.
I am newbie here. I am chipmusician and want to ask what audio file types are in Love2D supported?
(MP3? WAV? MOD? XM?)

Traditionally ogg is the go-to format. Older versions of Löve had some audio-related quirks that were easily avoided by using ogg instead of say, wav or mp3. The new 0.9.0 release fixes several audio issues though you will probably find many lövers recommending ogg.

As DaedelusYoung posted, it should be possible to use the MOD format.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.
