This is an awesome project. I do love the aesthetics.
It needs more polishing, though. And some codewise optimisations, IMO, in order to increase the actual framerate.
Anyway, very good. How do you handle the lighting ?
And are you considering releasing the source in a near future ? Will you keep working on it ?

Indeed, getting 30-40 FPS on my main set-up is not something usual. It may be caused by the lighting and/or lack of use of canvas?Roland_Yonaba wrote:This is an awesome project. I do love the aesthetics.

All ludum dare games, according to the rules need to be open-source.Roland_Yonaba wrote: And are you considering releasing the source in a near future ?
PM me on here or elsewhere if you'd like to discuss porting your game to Nintendo Switch via mazette!

Jam entries aren't required to distribute source.Davidobot wrote:All ludum dare games, according to the rules need to be open-source.Roland_Yonaba wrote: And are you considering releasing the source in a near future ?
Although a fun thing about packed LÖVE executables is that you can unzip them like a .love file and get the source code.
However, in the README, the author specifically asks not to redistribute the source code.

That is not a reason. It's an option. Murii is asking why they took that option.SiENcE wrote:Because on Jam it's not needed!?
