My 9 year old designed this on paper and created the vehicle graphics.
I did the rest. Game ends at 200 kills and gives you a skill rating.

Nice game!
Hard to understand code!(for me )
about that: -- build up power over time, use solar energy?
Why not make the game cycle throught a day, more energy at day time when sun is high in the sky, and penalty or something during night combat.
Great!

Re: release: k3
Wow, thanks for the feedback guys. I wasn't even really planning on releasing it.
qubodup: If we make this into a game with levels the story will involve zealous treehugging.
Polaris: I cleaned up the code for r3 and just uploaded. It should be easier to understand now.

Re: release: k3
I loved this little game! So much fun to kill a few minutes!
Suggestion:
When doing level-based play, you pretty much only need to have the player take down a certain number of enemies and get at least a certain percentage point. You might even assign ranks, like:
Mission 1:
Destroy 10 Enemies.
<40% Accuracy - F Rank, Fail
40~49% Accuracy - E Rank, Pass
50~59% Accuracy - D Rank, Pass
60~69% Accuracy - C Rank, Pass
70~79% Accuracy - B Rank, Pass
80~89% Accuracy - A Rank, Pass
90~100% Accuracy - S Rank, Pass
And then give some sort of rewards based on how well they do in the missions. And give the option to go back to previous missions. Like, say they complete the missions with an S rank, they get the ability to do an Aimed Shot, where basically they press a button and the computer destroys instantly all enemies on the screen. I dunno. Something like that. Fun times!

Re: release: k3
very well done.
We could enjoy a version with some more positive things than killing people (even if little boys seems to like this kind of stuffs)

Are you sure that you are killing people in this game? Maybe you are just destroying cars? And maybe these cars are remote controlled (unmanned)?farvardin wrote: We could enjoy a version with some more positive things than killing people (even if little boys seems to like this kind of stuffs)
